Men’s fashion is cyclical, but there are some things that should never become fashionable again. There are exceptions, but in general, these are 7 things men should stop wearing now.
1. Cargo Shorts
This pretty much sums it up…
2. Sandals With Socks
Wearing sandals with socks should be a known sin by now, but some men still insist on dressing like their grandfather.
3. Skinny Jeans
Skinny jeans are out. Men’s jeans should fit well, but they should never be tighter than their girlfriend’s pants.
4. Crocs
I’m not sure why these were ever “in”, but the fad didn’t last long. They may be comfortable, but no self-respecting man should ever wear these out in public.
5. Shirts With Oversized or Repeating Logos
We get it, you want to show off your brand name shirt. Unfortunately, having a logo or brand name that takes up 90% of your shirt looks tacky and unflattering. Stick to subtle designs.
6. Baggy Pants
JNCO was cool in the ’90s. Showing off your crusty underwear isn’t cool in 2020. Pull up your pants.
7. Studded Belts
Unless you’re a true punk rocker, you shouldn’t “rock” a studded belt. There are certain people who fit this look, but you’re likely not one of them. Play it safe and wear a regular leather belt.
Hopefully you’ll avoid these 7 things men should stop wearing now. No one wants public ridicule over their fashion choices.
